There are many different buggies to choose from. Here are five of the best that we tested.
A The Babyzone Lite is a stroller designed for everyday use and boasts one-hand folding, unfolding and driving capabilities. There is a useful integral shopping bag but the buggy becomes unstable if heavy items are placed in it. The ability to change the length of the handles is a bonus but it’s quite tricky to do. A good buggy at a reasonable price.
B The Luxe Bug offers some luxury touches such as leather handle grips and a ventilated roll up cover to keep its occupant cool in hot weather. It also has a full length protective rain cover which means that it's ideal for all weather scenarios. With these top-notch accessories comes a high price tag but they are worth the extra cost if price is not an issue. One more plus for this buggy is its removable and washable seat pad.
C The SuggleBug is built for comfort with the best suspension system on the market and front swivel wheels. As well as ensuring a smooth ride for your baby or toddler, the multi-position recliner and adjustable calf support offer the perfect sleep position when they need a nap. It only comes in one colour, which is fine if you like red! We did find this buggy harder to steer than the other models.
D The Dinky Stroller is professed to be the world's smallest folding buggy. In just two steps, it can quickly fold into a handbag shaped package of just 35 x 20 x 42 cm. This makes it ideal for travelling as it stashing easily on buses, trains and in airplane overhead lockers. The downside is that it's very basic and doesn’t include a sunshield or rain cover.
E The Peek-A-Boo has a couple of great safety features that make it a popular buggy for safety-conscious parents. The first is an advanced wheel locking system along with flip-flop-friendly brakes so you can stop the stroller quickly whatever footwear you have on. Another plus for this model is the hood viewing window which means you can keep an eye on your little one without disturbing them. This isn't a lightweight buggy, so maybe not be the best choice for travel.
